With the help of contemporary technology discoveries and inventions, many of our daily duties have grown simpler in the current world. Communication is undoubtedly one of them. Of course, different people communicate in different ways, but for me, the phone has always been the best method of connecting with others.
Since I first began to learn how to operate a phone, it has always been a phone. However, unlike now, the phone I used to use to communicate was a landline that I wasn’t always able to use. And the reason for this was that, unlike now, communicating with others over the phone back then cost a little more money.
Therefore, I would essentially need to ask my parents for permission before utilizing that landline to contact my friends and family. But back then, when I was still a boy, I didn’t have a smartphone or a mobile phone.
Now that I have my smartphone (and before having a smartphone, I used to own a nice, little regular mobile phone). I can use it to communicate with others at will whether they are living inside the country or outside of it.
Just so everyone is clear, when I say that I prefer talking on the phone to texting or leaving voicemails, I actually mean that I prefer making voice calls rather than texting or leaving voicemails. Anyway, I’ve been communicating in this fashion for over 17 years now.
Why do I favor this particular kind of communication, then? My response would be that it is just so simple, practical, and affordable. Additionally, I feel like I have more control over the storyline of the message when I speak on the phone with someone, which I really want to communicate with the others. Finally, I prefer it also because I just like to talk to people I care about.

People may get dependent on it as a result and become unaware of their surroundings. But in my opinion, phones that are utilized responsibly may greatly ease daily living.
