Which types of social networking sites do you prefer to use?
Because of how quickly things are changing, I believe that many young people, including myself, utilize social networking sites frequently. The most popular social networking sites in Vietnam are Facebook, Instagram, and Youtube, and I am dependent on all three of them. Instagram continues to be my preferred social networking platform for a number of reasons, even if many people my age have switched to Snapchat or TikTok. Five years ago, when I first started playing with photography, I downloaded this program, and I’ve found that it’s a tool that lets me express myself creatively by combining different filters to give my photos or movies the desired effect.
I have accumulated a rather large number of followers over the years, but I certainly would not call myself an influencer. I now use the application at least 3 times a week to post stories or to dump my friends and followers.
I still enjoy using Instagram very much and would absolutely recommend it to others ….but you do need to have thick skin if you amass a large following. I have had people make derogatory comments to me which can be rather upsetting but fortunately you can block them easily. I have been fortunate so far, but some people I know have been victims of catfishing, which can be traumatic.

What age do kids typically have access to social media in your nation?
It actually depends, in my opinion, on the program the kid is utilizing. I believe children should be at least 15 years old to utilize these programs because they often expose a youngster more to possible predators or cyberbullies.
I’ve heard that pedophiles make fictitious profiles in order to groom kids; this is disgusting and is just one of the reasons why parents should watch what their kids are doing with their devices.
Do you believe that in the future, people will use social media more or less?
It’s challenging to anticipate the future because so much is changing so quickly. A few years ago, we used to communicate with one another via emojis. Today, people can be seen dancing in front of cameras all over the place. So, even though I’m hesitant to forecast how it will look, I imagine that our infatuation with social media will persist.
Why do you believe that online bullying has expanded so widely?
I believe that trolls and cyberbullies generally believe that their anonymity serves as a barrier of defense. Many people are bothering others on social media sites with fake profiles, and I suppose that, like all forms of bullying, it gives the bully a sense of importance or worth.
As a result, the bully receives the justification they require without suffering any of the consequences that may follow if the bullying took place in the actual world.
